A leading figure in French alternative metal, Psykup celebrates more than thirty years of creative chaos with *The Joke Of Tomorrow*. Both a return to its roots and a new artistic statement, this powerful album explores failure, loss, and resilience, transforming every challenge into a catalyst for growth. Combining raw energy, finely crafted melodies, and a masterful blend of genres (hardcore, jazz, funk, death metal, pop, thrash), the band delivers a free-spirited, daring, and decidedly unconventional experience. In a different but equally intense vein, 7 Weeks stands out with raw, melodic music inspired by Anglo-Saxon power trios. Their new EP, set for release on September 18, 2026, marks a major turning point. Produced by Adrian Bushby (Foo Fighters, Muse), it embodies a return to rock’s roots, blending power, precision, and polished songwriting. Entirely independent, the band has forged its identity on stage across Europe, eventually taking the main stage at Hellfest.
