Description

The Raggamuffin Festival is gearing up for its inaugural edition on August 4, 2026, at the Théâtre de Verdure in Nice (06)—an evening of reggae and hip-hop headlined by L’Entourloop, the first act on a lineup featuring four artists.
This new chapter will kick off with a major announcement: L’Entourloop. The mysterious collective, led by its most hip-hop-oriented veterans and its wildest beats, will bring its new musical productions to life on the stage of the Théâtre de Verdure. And to really set the stage on fire, they’ll be joined by three MCs: FLAVIA COELHO, TROY BERKLEY, AND BLABBERMOUF! A promise of energy, bass, and powerful vibes to ignite this first edition in Nice. Another name: Marcus Gad, a unique figure in contemporary roots reggae, will headline the Ragamuffin Festival! Hailing from New Caledonia, the artist embodies a spiritual, conscious, and socially engaged reggae, fueled by his deep ties to the Kanak world and the influences of his island. After touring five continents, Marcus Gad made a name for himself in 2014 with two acclaimed EPs, before cementing his international reputation with *Chanting* in 2017 and *Ready for Battle* in 2023. His roots reggae blends tribal, Eastern, and soul influences, while exploring more urban sounds alongside Parisian producer TAMAL. In 2024, his single “La Vérité,” recorded in Mauritius, surpassed 2 million views on YouTube, while he continued to deliver memorable performances, from the Cabaret Sauvage in Paris to Rototom Sunsplash. In 2026, Marcus Gad will take the stage to promote his next album, expected this year. Cozik & Faya Pyd, a must-see duo on the new French-speaking reggae scene, are joining the Ragamuffin lineup! With over 8 million views on YouTube, they’ve carved out a unique sound at the intersection of French chanson, reggae, and hip-hop influences. Sunny rhythms, urban poetry, and explosive energy define their signature style: a creative fusion that brings to life a modern, free-spirited, and deeply vibrant reggae. Vanupié is our fourth artist! He rounds out this vibrant lineup alongside L'Entourloop, Marcus Gad, and Cozik & Faya Pyd! A singer, guitarist, and artist with a deeply free-spirited style, Vanupié first made a name for himself in the Paris metro, where his energy and unique voice quickly created a buzz with 116 million views for his Rockadown Subway Session video!! His music, fueled by a bohemian spirit and a love of travel, blends reggae, soul, pop, and electronic touches into a decidedly lively vibe!
