A must-see event at the end of summer, the Fête du Coq returns to Cogolin for two days of entertainment, music, Provençal traditions, and outdoor performances, featuring some thirty organizations.
A weekend filled with celebration!
The traditional Fête du Coq is back in Cogolin, joined this year by the Fête des Sports! These two events come together for a single weekend to celebrate the start of the school year in a festive and friendly atmosphere.
On the program: sports, music, Provençal traditions, demonstrations, activities, and performances, with Cogolin’s local organizations coming together to bring these two wonderful days to life and ensure that everyone—young and old alike—can fully enjoy the festivities.
Saturday, September 5
10:00 a.m.: Stalls open
10:15–10:30 a.m.: Provençal dance by L’Escolo Dou Rigaù
10:30–11:00 a.m.: Music by Les Bravadeurs
11:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.: Opening of the festival by the Mayor, followed by an aperitif accompanied by the band Absinthe
1:45 p.m. – 2:00 p.m.: Provençal dance by l’Escandihado
2:00 PM – 5:00 PM: Demonstrations by sports clubs
7:00 PM: Daniel Balavoine tribute concert
9:00 PM: France Gall tribute concert
Food available on-site for lunch and dinner.
Sunday, September 6
10:00 a.m.: Stalls open
10:00 a.m.: The Escandihado departs from the Maurin des Maures Center and heads to the church
10:30 a.m.–11:30 a.m.: Mass attended by the Bravadeurs and the Escandihado
Following Mass: “danse de la souche” in the République parking lot, followed by an aperitif accompanied by the choir Les Choristes du Golfe
3:00 p.m.: vocal illusion show by Érick Baert
