Description
From Your Plate to the Planet
Our diet has changed more in a single century than it did over the preceding millennia. These changes have had a profound impact not only on our health but also on the environment. What are the key scientific findings regarding diet and health? And regarding diet and greenhouse gases, pollution, and biodiversity? Michel Serre once said, “Eating is a biological, political, and sacred act.” Can diet be discussed from an ethical perspective?
