Description
With "Tsao Tsao," the band Deli Teli is opening a new chapter in its musical journey, at the crossroads of Mediterranean cultures and contemporary music.
Formed in Marseille around bassist Christos Karypidis, the quartet reimagines laïko—Greek folk music from the 1950s and ’60s—by infusing it with a contemporary and decidedly vibrant aesthetic. On stage, the electric bouzouki, synthesizers, bass, and drums blend into a collective energy where psychedelia, surf rock, and Mediterranean grooves intersect. Straddling tradition and modernity, Deli Teli crafts vibrant music that is both nostalgic and intensely contemporary. Conceived as an immersive concert, *Tsao Tsao* invites you on a journey between
Athens and Marseille, carried by a contagious, dance-inducing euphoria.
YERKÉ! As a child, Talin was too shy to sing in front of people. Today, the German-Armenian singer understands the power and magic of communal singing, which becomes almost an act of resistance for peoples like the Armenians. She is accompanied by Marine, France, and Jérémi, young jazz musicians who have fallen in love with
Armenian music. Blending tradition and modernity, the four friends interpret tunes from yesterday and today in their own unique way.
