A lively and joyful biographical journey in which music comes into play to shake up the classics

*Méli-Mélo Oratoire: Freely Inspired by Wanderings Through the Eponymous Repertoire* is a clever acronym for MOLIERE. And it is precisely through such cleverness that this show traces his life, intertwined with his work. Drawing on the words of characters from Molière’s plays, the major figures in Jean-Baptiste’s life retrace his journey in a highly subjective (albeit well-informed) manner; and the stories of a man’s life take on a kaleidoscopic glow in the radiance of the scenes from his plays. Three actors and a musician throw themselves with joy, passion, mischief, madness, and strength into the life and work of the man who was undoubtedly the happiest, most passionate, cleverest, craziest, and strongest of all theater people.
