This play, translated directly from Armenian, is being staged for the first time in Nice. The play tells the story of an Armenian mother who makes the ultimate decision to send her only son to the United States to give him a better future.

How far can a mother go to put her son first? In the privacy of an Armenian home in the 1980s, a mother sacrifices everything to give her son a better future in the United States. Alone, she must learn to live with his absence while waiting to be reunited with him. A universal and poignant story about the price of sacrifice, exile, and the power of a mother’s love.
