A documentary play about Ukrainian culture under Stalin, exploring creative freedom and the artist's role in the face of dictatorship.

In 1930, in Kharkiv, the “Slovo” house embodied the rise of Ukrainian culture. Five friends live there, experiencing a journey from hope to loss. Inspired by real events, this play explores creative freedom and the artist’s role in the face of dictatorship. Production: Compagnie Vôlya; directed by Tetiana Ohii. Running time: 1 hour 20 minutes.
