Snorkeling tour of the ruins of Olbia at Almanarre (Hyères)

Equipped with a mask, snorkel, and fins, set out with your group to explore an exceptional heritage site steeped in history. Guided by Camille, a passionate instructor, you’ll explore in complete safety the ancient ruins of Olbia, an ancient Greek city founded over 2,300 years ago and now partially submerged. At a depth of less than 5 meters, the ancient Roman trading post unfolds before you, and a little further on, you’ll see the wreck of the Tartane. As you head back toward the shore, the paleo-tombolo is home to a rich biodiversity. Throughout this guided underwater tour, you’ll observe Posidonia seagrass beds, Mediterranean fish, and traces left by the coast’s earliest inhabitants. Thanks to your guide’s explanations, this activity becomes a true immersion in the history and biodiversity of our region.
