The disused chapel features an exhibition dedicated to the ethnography of the population of Moulin up to 197.0, with archives, old photos and period tools.
The Confrérie de la Miséricorde had its headquarters in the chapel dedicated to Saint Antoine, a hermit in the main street (now rue de la République). It was the second penitent brotherhood to be created in Moulinet, and at the end of the 17th century, it built a rather monumental chapel. The chapel is topped by a baroque bell tower with a raised dome
covered with polychrome tiles. Restoration work in the mid-1990s preserved the interior decor and turned it into an exhibition hall. On display are
furniture and processional equipment relating to the local penitents. The high altar features a rustic canvas depicting Saint Anthony the hermit and Saint John the Baptist. Indeed, following a Ligurian tradition, the Beheading of St. John the Baptist is a customary cult of the Pénitents Noirs in Nice County. In 1809, the Pénitents noirs had 60 members in Moulinet. Rue de la République was the village's main thoroughfare.
