Overview of the Artists’ Book Collections While the media library houses nearly 120,000 items directly accessible to its users, there are several thousand more that are available only upon request and by appointment: these are the items in the heritage collections. Comprising works dating from the 14th to the 21st century, these collections are housed in the media library’s storage areas. These storage areas, normally off-limits to the public, are now open once a month for guided tours during which these various collections and several of the most precious and iconic items will be showcased.
