From Brittany to America, the Itinérance Quartet invites the audience on a musical journey for four cellos, featuring folk traditions, rare works, and 20th-century compositions.

From Brittany to America, the Itinérance Quartet invites the audience on a musical journey for four cellos, spanning folk traditions, rare works, and 20th-century compositions. Through a variety of soundscapes, the four musicians explore a world where memory, reverie, and discovery intersect. Special attention is given to female composers, whose works—long overlooked—now engage in a dialogue with more established pieces. The warm, deep timbre of the four cellos serves as the guiding thread of this journey, transforming each piece into a stop along the same path. An original and accessible program, brought to life by four performers for whom sharing knowledge and curiosity are their true driving forces.
