D’Azur et d’Orage “Allowing opposing forces to flow through you and finding, where they meet, a new energy.” With D’Azur et d’Orage, the Trio Zéphyr opens a new artistic chapter, one that has matured over the course of two years of creative work. This sixth album explores the contrasts of existence—between calm and turmoil, light and darkness. It invites listeners on a sensory journey through the metamorphoses, inner transitions, and opposing forces that course through us. The voices rise in an invented language—poetic and boundless—nourished by the sounds stretching from the Mediterranean to the Black Sea, evoking multiple roots and shared memories. In this album, the musicians draw on the languages of Turkey, Bulgaria, and Georgia for three tracks and draw inspiration from their traditional repertoires. Strings and voices weave together an organic and vibrant musical tapestry, where each piece becomes a space of resonance and transformation. An intense and delicate album, where “Azur” and “Orage” reveal themselves to one another. “Between trance and levitation, between tension and melancholy, a journey without a GPS and without phony fusion.” Isabelle Pasquier, France Inter “The audience loses itself in an ethereal ecstasy. Added to this are voices and a language that doesn’t exist but speaks to the very depths of emotion. We are moved, overcome by shivers. In the auditorium, souls float beneath a delicate breeze that sweeps away fears and the world to open up oceans of emotion.” Pierre Julien Bouniol, Theatrorama Violin, vocals: Delphine Chomel | Viola, vocals: Marion Diaques | Cello, vocals: Claire Menguy
