W.A.S stands for Watt About Songs. Made up of five musicians—five friends from the Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur region—this band is driven by a shared passion: progressive rock. Influenced by legendary “super bands” such as The Doors, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, and the Rolling Stones, they bring the house down with powerful guitars, impeccable rhythm, and a keyboard that adds harmonic depth to really get the groove going. To mark the release of their first EP (Extended Play), the band W.A.S. delivers a sound that is unmistakably rock, tinged with pop and folk, all wrapped up in energetic progressions. Their concerts are a chance to discover or rediscover the vibe of the ’70s—high-energy moments where good vibes are always guaranteed.
