Wine and cheese tasting: pairings and mismatches.

Wine and cheese do not always seek to harmonize... sometimes they challenge one another, and that is where the magic happens. Château de Chausse invites you to a convivial, interactive tasting experience—perfect for curious wine lovers, epicureans seeking authentic sensations, or anyone looking to share a memorable moment. In the intimate setting of our private tasting room, let yourself be guided... picture wine and cheese coming together. Sometimes they speak the same language or complement each other; at other times, they offer a striking contrast. Glass in hand, explore the perfect pairings—as well as the most unexpected ones—featuring a selection of aged cheeses alongside three of the estate’s signature wines: white, rosé, and red. Through these comparative tastings and friendly conversation, challenge your preconceptions and refine your palate by discovering the interplay of freshness, structure, and intensity. This workshop concludes with a brief, exploratory tour of our cellars.
