Description
Learn how to identify and weave with branches and stems found in your garden, the forest, or the great outdoors. Discover the art of basket weaving using local materials such as olive, maple, rushes, hazel, and ivy.
This workshop is open to everyone, including children ages 8 and up and adults of all ages. Although it takes a full day to master the art of basket weaving, our workshops begin with the basics, including getting familiar with the materials and weaving the structure. The first class is free for everyone, but registration is required. There is a fee for the workshop in addition to the Foyer Rural membership fee. A sliding-scale discount is available for multiple classes.
