The Musée National du Sport is presenting an immersive exhibition devoted to the legacy of the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games. Through more than 500 objects – medals, torches, outfits and emblematic souvenirs – the exhibition invites visitors to relive the intensity of this historic event, marked by sporting feats, spectacular ceremonies and an unprecedented popular momentum. From May 2 to June 28, immerse yourself in the fascinating world of Japanese street art. Through prints and objects, the exhibition highlights the figure of the acrobat, a travelling artist at the heart of popular traditions, between movement, spectacle and transmission. Between visual poetry and aesthetic refinement, the exhibition explores the links between the representation of the body and spectacular forms, inviting visitors to discover a little-known facet of Japanese culture. Accessible to all, it offers a sensitive encounter with these figures of gesture and life.

Presented at the Musée national Marc Chagall, this exhibition features an exceptional collection of 141 works by Marc Chagall. Divided into two sections, the exhibition reveals the richness and diversity of his work through sketches, models, ceramics and collages. From the studies for the ceiling of the Opéra Garnier to the creations for Igor Stravinsky’s ballet “L’Oiseau de feu” (The Firebird), to the plastic experiments of recent decades, the exhibition offers an immersion in the artist’s creative process. Between monumentality, movement and matter, it invites us to rediscover a work in constant evolution.

GRASSE

The Musée International de la Parfumerie continues its dialogue between art and perfume with Médusa Parfumée – The Invisible Embrace of Marble. Carved from Carrara marble, this work revisits the figure of Medusa in a calmer, more introspective version. Enriched with an olfactory dimension, the installation invites visitors to a unique sensory experience, between matter and the invisible, where memory, transformation and perception come together.

The exhibition explores the fascinating dialogue between two of the 20th century’s greatest designers: Henri Matisse and Yves Saint Laurent. Although they never met, both shared the same ambition: to push back the boundaries between the fine and applied arts. Through nearly 160 pieces – paintings, drawings, haute couture and textiles – the exhibition reveals the connections between their worlds and highlights a profound artistic influence, where fashion and painting meet with elegance and modernity.

ELLSWORTH KELLY'S

This summer, the Fondation Maeght is devoting a major exhibition to Ellsworth Kelly with “Aux bords de l’eau”. This original presentation explores the place of water in the artist’s work, revealing an essential aspect of his approach. A major figure in abstraction, Kelly’s work reflects not so much the landscape as the very perception of water – its variations in light, colour and surface. Through drawings, paintings, collages and sculptures, the exhibition offers a sensitive immersion in his vision, while recalling his close links with the Aimé Maeght family and the history of the site.

This summer, the Musée Bonnard invites you to discover the intimacy of the painter’s eye through a new double exhibition. Les toilettes de Marthe delicately reveals the gestures of everyday life, between light, body and colour, while L’Atelier au mimosa explores Bonnard’s creative universe. Between sensitive scenes and olfactory experiences, the exhibition offers a poetic immersion into the heart of his work.

MONACO

This summer, the Grimaldi Forum Monaco is presenting an exceptional exhibition retracing more than 130 years of mechanical passion in the Principality. From the first cars to the legendary racing cars of the Monaco Grand Prix, the exhibition highlights the unique link between Monaco and the automobile. Over 4,000 m², some fifty emblematic vehicles – notably from the Monte-Carlo Rally and the Princely Collections – are displayed alongside previously unseen archives from the Automobile Club de Monaco. The exhibition offers a spectacular blend of history, prestige and innovation.
